Configuration Settings: Approvals
These settings determine when the Triaster Server issues approval notifications and email reminders.
By default, Reset Change Properties only occurs for maps published to Live sites.
If you adjust any settings, remember to click on the Save Changes button before closing the Configuration tool.
Global Settings
WARNING: Changing certain fields in this section will update the corresponding fields in ALL libraries and ALL sites.

Send Approval Email |
When ticked, approvals outstanding for a certain period will trigger an e-mail alert to the relevant approver(s).
By default, this only applies to the Prelive site. |
Approval Email Address |
Email address that will be seen as the sender of approval notification emails sent from the Triaster Server. |
Revision History Approvals |
Name of site where approvals revision history information is to be stored. |
Increment Version No On Approval |
If ticked, then automatically increment the version number by one upon publication after the approval of a process map.
By default, this only occurs when a map is published to the Prelive site. |
Increment Revision No On Approval |
If ticked, automatically increment the revision number by one upon publication after the approval of a process map.
By default, this only occurs when a map is published to the Prelive site. |
Approval Overdue Days |
Number of days after an approvals due email has been issued that a reminder email is sent (default: 7). |
Use Immediate Map Update (Technocal Admins only) |
THIS VALUE SHOULD ONLY BE CHANGED UNDER INSTRUCTION FROM TRIASTER. It changes the method by which maps are updated on approval. |
Amend/Delete Approval Type |
Select an existing approver type from the dropdown list to edit or delete it.
Click on the Add new Approval Type button to create a new type. An Approver Type is defined by the following properties:
- Caption
- Value
- Approval Status Property
- Approval Date Property
- Rework Reason Property
Click on the Add button to confirm a new Approver Type.
For an existing Approver Type, click on the Update button to confirm any changes. To delete the approver type, click on the Delete this Approval Type button.

Library Settings

Select the library you want to configure from the dropdown list.

Site Settings
If you have not already done so, select the library containing the site you want to configure from the dropdown list at the top of the Library Settings section.
Then, select the site to be configured from the Site Setting's dropdown list.
NOTE: Changing fields in this section will update the corresponding field in the selected site in the selected library ONLY.
